We are looking for 

THREE HUNDRED “WOMEN WHO CARE”.

IN HOLLAND, MI! 

Our Second of four meetings for 2023 – 2024!

4:30 to 5:00 SET UP 

5:00pm – 5:30pm Sign up to become a Member! (And Social Hour) 

5:30pm – 6:30pm actual meeting 

Where: Port 393 – 393 Cleveland Ave, Holland 

We are excited to continue to gather a group of now over two hundred women in the Greater Holland area for the purpose of helping those in need. 

In 2006, a dynamic and community minded woman in Jackson, MI, Karen Dunigan, formed an alliance of women with the intent to streamline fundraising help for local agencies. Since 2006, the original group of 117 women has grown to 245 women and has distributed over $200,000 to organizations or agencies in the Jackson area. Today, there are over 700 groups in the USA, Canada and the rest of the world:

We have awarded money in the Greater Holland Area to Non-Profits:

$1,067,585 in 12 years with 48hours of work!!!! 

This is how it works: 

➢ We identify and invite 300+ or more women to commit to our group. Commitment involves attending four short meetings a year, pledging $100 per meeting. 

➢ At each meeting, an opportunity is provided for three members of the group to present a five (5) minute explanation of a local organization or agency in need. 

➢ There is an opportunity for questions. 

➢ A vote is taken. 

➢ The winner is announced. Each of the 300+ women writes a check to the winning agency. 

➢ The meeting ends. The agency or organization is awarded the money! If we can get over 300 Women Who Care that is $30,000.
